Job Description:
Perform ultrasound procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention and produce high quality images on appropriate archival systems.
Job Responsibilities:
– Perform ultrasound imaging and related procedures in all areas of ultrasound
– Record patient images via appropriate archival media, transfer images as needed.
– Participate in performance improvement activities in the department.
– Maintain appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance.
– Review clinical information regarding patient along with images with the Radiologist.
– Print images onto appropriate media.
– Provide permanent data of procedures as required or requested.
– Maintain departmental standards related to Quality Assurance controls.
– Train new staff on the ultrasound system and department procedures.
– Practice sterile techniques maintain aseptic conditions and use universal precautions at all times.
– Perform first aid on patients until further assistance can be obtained to maintain patient’s health.
– Adhere to on-call, holiday, and weekend schedules as prepared by the manager.
– Exercise strict patient confidentiality.
– Ensure adherence to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, KSA and local requirements, and JCIA & CBAHI standards.
– Provide patient and family education as per the needs.
– Participate in routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and make minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed
– Complete forms and maintains records, logs and reports of work performed.
– Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
– Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
– Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge, skills and abilities.
Work Nature:
– High-paced environment.
– 6 days/48 hours per week.
Requirements–
Experience:
– Minimum 2 Years of practice in hospital setup (Preferably in OB-GYN)
Education/Professional Qualification:
– Bachelor’s Degree that is relevant to the position
– Valid Registration of MOH & Saudi Council
