Medtronic Saudi Arabia is seeking a passionate and driven Technical Consultant – Aortic, Neurovascular and Peripheral Vascular to support physicians and healthcare teams in delivering life saving therapies to patients across the Kingdom. In this role, you will be the go to clinical and technical expert for our vascular portfolio, providing high quality case support, education, and training in Angiographic and Cath labs, while partnering closely with the commercial team to drive therapy adoption and patient access. In this field-based role, you will be based in Saudi Arabia and primarily support accounts across the Eastern Region, with a home-office working set-up when not in hospitals. You will report to the TC Central & Eastern Region Subsp. Leader Saudi Arabia and collaborate closely with the broader Vascular team. Regular travel within your assigned territory is required to support procedures, deliver training, and attend internal meetings, with occasional regional travel as needed.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide in-the-field clinical and technical support during Aortic, Neurovascular and Peripheral Vascular procedures, ensuring safe and effective use of Medtronic therapies
- Educate and train physicians, nurses and Cath lab staff on Medtronic systems and techniques, including technologies such as the Endurant abdominal aortic stent graft system, which is used for minimally invasive endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive therapy adoption, support product launches and execute account-specific plans across the assigned territory
- Work on strategic projects with hospitals to enhance medical services and expand treatment capacity so more patients can benefit from Medtronic therapies
- Provide flexible, responsive case support, including urgent and unplanned procedures, to ensure continuous coverage for patients and healthcare teams
- Monitor and analyze case activity, product performance and customer feedback, sharing insights to improve patient outcomes and inform business decisions
- Plan and prioritize daily field activities, including case coverage, customer visits and educational events, while maintaining accurate documentation in line with Medtronic policies
- Support relevant scientific meetings, workshops and in-hospital programs by organizing demonstrations, coordinating logistics and representing Medtronic as a trusted technical and clinical partner
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory, with a valid driver’s license and readiness to work in hospital-based settings
Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology, biomedical engineering, or a related healthcare field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Angio or Cath lab, neurovascular or endovascular environment, supporting complex vascular intervention procedures
Proven experience providing clinical or technical support for medical devices, ideally within Aortic, Neurovascular or Peripheral Vascular therapies
Strong skills in planning, prioritization and follow up, with a track record of meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) in a field-based or customer-facing role
Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals across multidisciplinary teams
