Store Assistant 

Job Description

What You Will Do:

Inventory Management :

  • Conduct regular stock checks to ensure that the drugstore has an adequate supply of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and supplies.
  • Monitor product expiration dates and remove expired items from shelves to maintain product quality and safety.

Receiving Shipments:

  • Receive incoming shipments of pharmaceutical products and supplies.
  • Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Ensure that all received items are properly barcoded and stored in the appropriate location within the store.
  • Assist in placing orders for new stock when inventory levels are low.
  • Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to ensure that older stock is used before newer items.
  • Ensure that store shelves are well-organized, clean, and properly stocked.

Other tasks :

  • Work closely with other store assistants and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for both vendors and staff.
  • Report any security concerns or incidents to the appropriate authorities.

What Qualifies You for The Role:

  • High School or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (healthcare preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
