We’re Hiring: Laboratory Technologist – Stem Cell

The Stem Cell Technologist/Technician is a specialized laboratory professional responsible for preparing, processing, and analyzing cellular therapy products, including hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs). This role ensures specimen integrity, regulatory compliance, and patient safety, supporting successful transplants and continuous quality improvement. The technologist also contributes to therapeutic innovation and collaborates within a multidisciplinary clinical and research environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
•     Perform advanced preparation, processing, and analysis of cellular therapy products, including hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs).
•     Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols for specimen integrity and patient safety.
•     Support stem cell transplantation procedures through technical expertise and interdepartmental collaboration.
•     Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
•     Participate in research and innovation efforts within a regulated clinical laboratory environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
•     Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
•     Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with specific exposure to stem cell or cellular therapy preferred.
•     DHA license or eligibility is required.
•     Strong understanding of laboratory safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
•     Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
