Job Summary

The Staff Nurse – Hair Specialist provides nursing care and clinical support in dermatology or hair restoration clinics. The role involves assisting in hair loss treatments, hair transplant procedures, and scalp care therapies while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Assist doctors in hair transplant surgeries (FUE/FUT)
• Prepare operation or procedure rooms
• Support procedures like PRP therapy, laser therapy, and scalp treatments
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards

Patient Care

• Assess patient condition before and after procedures
• Provide pre-procedure instructions and post-treatment care guidance
• Monitor patient recovery and report complications

Procedure Assistance

• Handle medical instruments and equipment during treatments
• Assist in graft handling and implantation (in transplant clinics)
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures

Clinic Duties

• Maintain patient records and treatment notes
• Manage appointment preparation and patient flow
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of treatment areas

Education & Guidance

• Educate patients on hair care, scalp hygiene, and treatment plans
• Explain post-procedure precautions and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Valid nursing license (e.g., SCFHS if in Saudi Arabia)
• Experience in dermatology, cosmetic, or surgical nursing preferred

• Good hand-eye coordination for assisting procedures
• Strong communication and patient care skills
