Job Description

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develops monthly recruitment plans for the assigned vertical as per the nursing manpower requirements.

• Meets with line management to gather current nursing recruitment requirements, recommends appropriate actions and plans for their implementation as per the agreed timelines.

• Maintains an updated roster of participant placements and potential job opportunities

• Initiates, directs and conducts searches for required candidates working closely with assigned stakeholders.

• Suggests proper Medias for approaching the right caliber candidates.

• Handles end-to-end recruitment processes for the assigned vertical (Technology, Commercial and Support Functions) and conducts the selection process for the required roles.

• Searches and selects suitable candidates to provide short list to respective line manager.

• Provides recommendations for short-list candidates that match the jobs requirements.

• Arranges and carries out competency-based interviews for the candidates pre-selected for the required roles

Negotiates salaries and start dates with potential candidates and ensures that all required documentation is in place as per the relevant procedures.

• Manages external job portals.

• Builds, maintains and fosters external relations with employment agencies and other sources of high potential candidates ensuring that CCAD’s recruitment requirements are formulated and communicated in an effective manner.

• Continually develops personal skills and maintains an up-to-date knowledge of systems and processes

• Develops current recruitment knowledge and trends within the local and international labor markets.

• Provides input into formulation and/or improvements in recruitment policies and procedures that will best aid the effective operation of the recruitment function.

• Maintains recruitment database that holds information on received CVs, potentials, and interviewed candidates, ensuring that this information base will aid in fulfilling CCAD’s future Nursing Institute needs, and as befitting manpower projection figures, and that the information is continuously updated to reflect changes in the candidates’ profiles.

• Develops and maintains relationships with line managers and other key internal staff.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related specialty

• Masters’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related specialty is preferred but not mandatory

• Minimum 7 years of experience with at least 2 years of experience in a nursing recruitment role

• Experience within the Healthcare industry

• CIPD, Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) or similar talent acquisition/recruitment certification is preferred

• Strong initiative drive, and sound organizational skills

• Ability to interact with people in senior positions

• Proficient interpersonal skills

• Relationship building and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects

• Excellent communication skills and excellent negotiation skills at all levels

• Good understanding of recruitment processes and knowledge of sourcing techniques
