Job Description

Diagnoses and manages diseases of the digestive system, including the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. Evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, performs gastrointestinal procedures where qualified, and monitors treatment outcomes to ensure quality patient care.

Qualification & Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology or an equivalent specialty.
• Valid medical license from the relevant healthcare authority (DHA, DOH, or MOHAP, as applicable).
• Previous experience in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal disorders is preferred.
• Expertise in managing conditions such as gastritis, peptic ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disorders.
• Experience in endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy, where applicable.
• Knowledge of gastrointestinal diagnostic investigations and treatment protocols.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-counselling skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
