HealthPlus Family Health Center provides family-focused, comprehensive care for all ages across its clinics in Al Bandar, Al Forsan, and Saadiyat Island. The centers’ team of experienced family physicians offers a full spectrum of services, from newborn checkups and preventive care to the management of common illnesses and injuries, helping families stay healthy, active, and well-supported through every stage of life.

Healthplus is seeking a Specialist Family Medicine physician to join its primary care services. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care across all age groups within a well‑governed, multidisciplinary healthcare environment, aligned with international clinical standards and best practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing continuity of care, preventive health services, and the management of both acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult and pediatric patients, including acute, chronic, and preventive care.
  • Conduct outpatient consultations and manage a broad spectrum of medical conditions within the scope of Family Medicine practice.
  • Develop and implement individualized management plans in line with evidence‑based clinical guidelines.
  • Promote health education, disease prevention, and lifestyle management through patient counselling and follow‑up care.
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate closely with specialists and allied healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care pathways.
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety activities.

Qualifications

  • Recognised medical degree with Specialist qualification in Family Medicine (e.g. Arab Board, MRCGP, CCFP, or equivalent).
  • Eligibility for DOH licensure as a Specialist Family Medicine.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ post‑specialty experience in a primary care or family medicine setting.
  • Strong clinical judgment with a patient‑centred and holistic approach to care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
