HealthPlus Diabetes & Endocrinology Center is a recognized Center of Excellence in diabetes care. The center adopts a multidisciplinary approach focused on patient well-being, clinical outcomes, education, and training. Offering advanced, evidence-based treatments across specialties including Diabetology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Nutrition, and Special Infusion Therapy, it remains at the forefront of medical innovation in diabetes and endocrine care.

The Specialist Endocrinologist will provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, delivering evidence-based diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary clinical team across the HealthPlus network to ensure high-quality, patient‑centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, osteoporosis, and metabolic syndromes.
  • Conduct outpatient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits in line with clinical best practices.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment and management plans for patients.
  • Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic investigations to support accurate clinical decisions.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient education programs.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree with completed specialty training in Endocrinology.
  • Recognized specialty qualification (Arab Board, European Board, MRCP with Endocrinology training, or equivalent).
  • DOH eligibility or license to practice in Abu Dhabi.
  • Proven experience in outpatient endocrinology practice.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach to care.
