The Registered Nurse – Hemodialysis will be responsible for delivering individualized dialysis care to patients while ensuring adherence to clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre‑dialysis and post‑dialysis nursing assessments in line with clinical guidelines.
- Perform safe and efficient hemodialysis treatments, including equipment preparation, access management, and complication monitoring.
- Administer medications and implement nursing interventions as per individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation to support continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment expectations, renal health, and post‑treatment care.
- Collaborate with nephrologists and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with infection‑control standards, equipment safety protocols, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Valid DOH/DHA/MOH license or DOH eligibility.
- Minimum 2 years of hemodialysis nursing experience.
- BLS required; ACLS is an advantage.
- Strong technical skills in dialysis equipment and vascular access management.
