Job Description

Sourcing for experienced Resident Medical Officer (Bilingual) for Inpatient Psychiatry Unit to provide expertise in Inpatient setup under supervision of Consultant/Specialist Psychiatry. Performs assessment and management of patients with an evidence-based approach, according to standards of care, and in compliance with Fakeeh Care bylaws, policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Under supervision of Consultant/Specialist Psychiatry will perform psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary patient care
• Patient-centered approach with a commitment to quality and clinical excellence
• Performs clinical duties as per his / her assigned clinical privileges.
• Strong experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary patient care.
• Assesses patients thoroughly (eg. clinical, socioeconomic, psychological and functional assessments) and documents patients’ assessment in patients’ medical records.
• Ensures that patients’ plan of care is being implemented in a timely manner.
• Ensures documentation of daily assessment and plan of care in daily progress notes

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• MBBS with MD/DNB or equivalent in Psychiatry
• DHA Eligibility/License as General Practitioner Or Specialist Psychiatrist
• Minimum 5 years’ post-specialization experience in busy Hospital Setup – Inpatient services
• Proven expertise in Inpatient Psychiatry within a reputed hospital in the region highly preferred
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Arabic communication speaking are essential
