King’s College Hospital London – Dubai is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Revenue Cycle Administrator to support our OP Pre‑Approval Unit. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely insurance verification, pre‑approvals, and smooth patient flow across our outpatient services.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
- Process and secure insurance pre‑approvals for outpatient services, including consultations, diagnostics, therapies, and procedures.
- Review clinical documentation to ensure it meets payer requirements before submission.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to obtain missing or additional clinical details.
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for all outpatient encounters.
- Ensure pre‑approval requests are submitted accurately and within required timeframes.
- Follow up with insurance companies to expedite pending approvals and resolve delays.
- Escalate complex or high‑priority cases when needed.
- Maintain accurate records and update approval status within the hospital information system.
- Support the Revenue Cycle team in minimizing denials, delays, and financial risks.
- Provide exceptional communication and service to both internal stakeholders and patients.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle, pre‑approvals, medical insurance processing, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE insurance regulations, payer requirements, and pre‑approval workflows.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, outpatient services, and clinical documentation.
- Proficiency in hospital information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
