We’re Hiring | IP Medical Coder Team Lead
Location: Al Ain, United Arab Emirates

Join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team as an IP Medical Coder Team Lead and play a key role in driving coding excellence, ensuring compliance, and leading a high-performing medical coding team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities of the IP Medical Coding team.
Ensure accurate ICD, CPT, and DRG coding while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with coding standards.
Implement and monitor coding SOPs and quality guidelines in collaboration with the Revenue Cycle Manager.
Mentor, coach, and train coding staff to achieve quality and productivity targets.
Conduct regular audits of inpatient and outpatient medical records and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Monitor coding performance, billing practices, and revenue optimization opportunities.
Coordinate staffing requirements and support KPI achievement.
Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and documentation related to team development.
Participate in coding updates, training programs, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Paramedical or relevant healthcare discipline.
Professional coding certification such as AAPC (CPC) or AHIMA, with DRG coding experience preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical coding, including supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, DRG, and EMR systems.
Excellent leadership, coaching, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality healthcare documentation.
