Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This

has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns

Danat Al Emarat Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse II – Postnatal to join our Women & Children’s services.

Reporting to the Assistant Nurse Manager / Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse II – Postnatal is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to postnatal mothers and newborns, ensuring safety, comfort, education, and continuity of care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based postnatal nursing care to mothers and newborns
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans
  • Support breastfeeding, newborn care, patient education, and discharge planning
  • Administer medications safely and escalate care appropriately
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DOH/DHA and JCI standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or Associate Degree – USA/Canada with NCLEX/Canadian License)
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification nursing experience
  • Experience in Postnatal / Maternity / Women & Children services preferred
  • Eligibility for DOH/DHA Nursing License
  • Strong communication skills and patient-centred approach
