Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary maternity team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to women and their families throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postnatal period, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
Assess, monitor, and support women throughout pregnancy and labor.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
Educate and support women and families on pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, and healthy lifestyles.
Collaborate effectively with obstetricians, neonatologists, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and professional development activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery OR
Degree in Midwifery (minimum 2-year course) with Registered Nurse qualification from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia.
Valid DHA License/Eligibility as a Midwife.
Minimum 3 years of hospital-based midwifery experience.
Current BLS/Resuscitation Certification accredited from American Heart Association (AHA)
Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
