Role Description The Psychometric Specialist will perform standardized psychological and educational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on autism, ADHD, learning problems, and related psychiatric conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting appropriate assessment tools, administering tests, scoring and interpreting results, and preparing clear, clinically sound reports for use by clinicians, educators, and families. The role involves collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and educators to contribute to diagnostic decisions, individualized treatment plans, and educational accommodations. The specialist will also maintain accurate documentation, ensure ethical and culturally sensitive assessment practices, and participate in case discussions and follow-up evaluations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in psychological and educational assessment methods, including standardized test administration, scoring, and interpretation.
- Strong report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex assessment findings in clear, accessible language for both professionals and families.
- Solid knowledge of autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning difficulties, and common psychiatric conditions, including relevant diagnostic criteria and assessment tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate professionally with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adherence to ethical and confidentiality standards in clinical practice.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology, Psychometrics, Educational Psychology, or a closely related field; relevant clinical or educational assessment experience preferred.
- Experience working in clinical, hospital, or specialized educational settings is an advantage, particularly in neurodevelopmental and psychiatric care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and openness to supervision, training, and new assessment approaches.
