K ey Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducts psychiatric interviews and collects data for diagnostic purposes.
- Participates in providing various psychotherapies, including individual, group and family therapies.
- Participates in using behavioral methods for the treatment of adults and in planning the frequency, intensity
and duration of treatment.
- Performs psychometric (mental measuring) testing for diagnosis and evaluation of therapy.
- Engages in research and educational activities that will improve methods and techniques for the
management of emotionally disturbed patients.
- Keeps current with ideas in the fields of personality development and adjustment, diagnosis, treatment and
prevention of mental disorders to assist in the planning of mental health progress.
- Participates in, in-service teaching programs in his/her field.
- Adheres to the bylaws, rules and regulations and assures that the work performed is in keeping with the
established standards of accreditations of the Fakeeh Health Care facility.
- Participates in committee functions as assigned.
- Keeps confidentiality of the patient’s disease and does not provide any medical summaries or in formations
about patients unless authorized according to Fakeeh Care policies and procedures.
- Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventative measures if
applicable.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Skills and Abilities: – Good physical, mental conditions and Affirmative recommendations
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field of clinical psychology
Education: Bachelor Degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University
Language: Fluency in Arabic and English
Licenses / Certifications: License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA)
