Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an OCD Therapist/Psychologist at TherapyMantra. The professional in this role will provide online, evidence-based assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and related conditions, using modalities such as CBT, ERP, and other scientifically validated approaches. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive intake assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy sessions via secure video or chat, and monitoring client progress with structured measures. The role involves maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team as needed, and participating in case discussions or supervision where applicable. The therapist/psychologist will also educate clients and families about OCD, offer relapse-prevention strategies, and contribute to a supportive, client-centered therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with expertise in anxiety disorders, OCD, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Clinical skills in Counseling and Psychological Assessment, including intake evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and outcome monitoring.
  • Relevant education and training in Medicine or clinical disciplines (e.g., MD/DO with psychiatry training, PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology, or equivalent qualifications, as applicable to jurisdiction).
  • Current professional license or registration (where required by local regulations) to practice independently or under supervision in mental health services.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering online or telehealth-based therapy, with comfort using digital platforms and maintaining data privacy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathic listening skills, with a client-centered, culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage a part-time caseload, and maintain reliable internet access and a private workspace.
  • Experience with CBT/ERP for OCD, trauma-informed care, or group therapy is highly beneficial.
