Production & Supply Planner

Job Description

Role Summary Jamjoom Pharma is seeking a Production & Supply Planner to support end-to-end planning activities at our main manufacturing site in Saudi Arabia. The role plays a key part in ensuring service level achievement, efficient production scheduling, and effective cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of production and supply plans based on approved demand forecasts.
  • Execute production scheduling activities and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in line with capacity and material availability.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Production teams to ensure timely material availability and smooth execution of production orders.
  • Update and maintain planning master data in SAP (BOMs, routings, production versions, lead times, safety stock, MOQ).
  • Support Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) by collecting data and highlighting capacity constraints.
  • Monitor, measure, and report key planning and production KPIs (CTS, MPS adherence, supply adherence, out-of-stocks).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics) to resolve day-to-day planning issues.
  • Follow the agreed escalation process for supply disruptions, material shortages, or schedule breaks.
  • Participate in Supply Planning Review (SPR) with senior stakeholders as part of the S&OP cycle, assessing capacity constraints, identifying supply risks, and proposing mitigation plans.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation of standard planning procedures and best practices.
  • Support new supplier qualification by coordinating material planning, trial/validation requirements, and production schedules.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering , or Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Production or Supply Planning, preferably in pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, production scheduling, and detailed planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Power BI and SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, IBP) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
