Product Specialist – (Skincare Pharmaceuticals KSA).

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: The Product Specialist is accountable for generating demand for brands with key accounts, proactively identifying business opportunities, presenting value propositions aligned to key stakeholder needs and objectives, and recommending solutions to drive and develop the business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Schedule appointments and meet existing and new customers to promote AKI’s products and to determine other opportunities through the effective use of the company’s sales aids and marketing data.
  • Assisting in customer engagement educational activities, participation in the coordination of medical lectures, seminars, and other industry events to raise awareness of medical doctors and specialists.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships with key decision-makers, doctors, and key customer’s personnel and always work toward enhancing such relations and generating new client’s business accounts according to schedules and specific plans.
  • Arrange the RTD’s as per the company policy.
  • Identify product strengths and weaknesses, develop strategies to highlight the advantages, and perform direct face-to-face detailing of the product benefits with the objective of enlisting or including the product in hospitals or medical centers.
  • Generate sales orders while observing the product market share and running activities in the clinic when needed (group meetings, hands-on workshops, or training)
  • Submit reports on sales activities, competitor’s activities/events and competitor’s pricing changes and commercial policies in a timely manner. Plan weekly and monthly sales schedules in coordination with Sales Team to forecast the sales targets and to identify team’s opportunities for product improvements.
  • Act as the main point of contact and source of information about the products.
  • Provide adequate information about new clinics/medical centres, in terms of enlisting and purchasing relevant products, working physicians, relevant competitor products and activities.
  • Understand the needs and preferred customers of the target audience, identify, and address their concerns and product issues and find solutions to meet the needs.
  • Perform different marketing activities that support the brand, stay up to date with market trends to ensure that the product remains competitive and relevant. Leverage the power of testimonials and success stories by sharing them from clients who have benefited from the products and equipment to build trust and credibility.
  • Create and update detailed records of all doctors, pharmacists, and wholesalers to maintain a comprehensive database of all potential and existing customers. Customer CRM – segmentation and targeting data collection under CRM system use. Submitting the visits on the CRM on daily basis along with submitting the weekly plan
  • Keeping abreast of new development in the medical field and updating product knowledge.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, another medical degree required or equivalent experience. However, a background in sales or customer service is often beneficial
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in KSA as a Pharmaceutical Representative or working in pharmaceutical business.

  • Must have a valid KSA driving license.
