About the Role

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurses / Practical Nurses to join our Outpatient Department (OPD). The ideal candidates will support the clinical team in delivering efficient patient care, ensuring a smooth patient journey, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Patient Care Support

Assist registered nurses and physicians in delivering patient care within the OPD setting

  • Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any abnormalities
  • Provide basic patient care, hygiene support, and comfort measures

Clinical & Operational Support

  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Assist during minor procedures and clinical interventions
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of medical supplies and equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies

Patient Experience

  • Support patient flow within the OPD, ensuring timely service delivery
  • Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients and families
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and dignity at all times

Compliance & Safety

  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
  • Follow DOH regulations and hospital guidelines
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic clinical environment

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification as an Assistant/Practical Nurse Licensure
  • Valid DOH License as Assistant Nurse, OR Eligibility for DOH License (Assistant Nurse category) is mandatory

Experience

  • Prior experience in OPD or hospital setting is preferred
  • Fresh candidates with eligibility may also be considered
