About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurses / Practical Nurses to join our Outpatient Department (OPD). The ideal candidates will support the clinical team in delivering efficient patient care, ensuring a smooth patient journey, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Patient Care Support
Assist registered nurses and physicians in delivering patient care within the OPD setting
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any abnormalities
- Provide basic patient care, hygiene support, and comfort measures
Clinical & Operational Support
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
- Assist during minor procedures and clinical interventions
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of medical supplies and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies
Patient Experience
- Support patient flow within the OPD, ensuring timely service delivery
- Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients and families
- Uphold patient confidentiality and dignity at all times
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Follow DOH regulations and hospital guidelines
- Ensure a safe and hygienic clinical environment
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification as an Assistant/Practical Nurse Licensure
- Valid DOH License as Assistant Nurse, OR Eligibility for DOH License (Assistant Nurse category) is mandatory
Experience
- Prior experience in OPD or hospital setting is preferred
- Fresh candidates with eligibility may also be considered
