Job Description


  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, psychological, and functional needs to develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Deliver hands-on physiotherapy across a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, post-operative, and complex rehabilitation cases.
  • Set clear patient-centered goals and work collaboratively with patients, caregivers, and clinical teams to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Continuously adjust and progress treatment plans based on patient response and recovery trends—keeping therapy both safe and effective.
  • Use evidence-based practice and outcome measures to track patient progress and contribute to high standards of clinical excellence.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care across the rehabilitation continuum.
  • Educate patients and families on injury prevention, post-treatment care, and strategies for long-term mobility and wellness.
  • Monitor for clinical risk factors and prioritize safety at every stage of the therapy process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation, billing, and reporting in line with internal and external healthcare regulations.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives, support clinical education of students or junior staff, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy or Direct entry of a recognized program with attainment of Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience post qualification in the physiotherapy and rehabilitation field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Completion of specialty qualification as per the recognized specialty certificate (Department of Health guidelines).
  • Knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, and pre and post-operative rehabilitation, relevant procedures and current best practices.
