Saudi German Hospital Ajman is looking for a proactive and experienced Pharmacy Insurance Coordinator to join our pharmacy team. If you have strong expertise in pharmacy insurance processes and a commitment to supporting excellent patient care, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:
Manage insurance approvals and rejections for pharmacy prescriptions.
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for prescribed medications.
Liaise with insurance companies to obtain timely approvals and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure accurate documentation of pharmacy claims, rejections, and resubmissions.
Stay updated with insurance regulations, medication formulary changes, and policy updates.
Collaborate closely with pharmacists, physicians, and billing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Provide patients with clear information regarding insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
Assist with audits, compliance checks, and reporting related to pharmacy insurance activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience handling pharmacy insurance coordination, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of drug names, therapeutic categories, and UAE insurance standards.
Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, and DRG codes).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
