Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Centre (ADTC) is the centralized call center for the M42 network, serving as a seamless point of access for patients across the UAE and beyond. By connecting individuals with the right care at the right time, ADTC ensures efficient coordination, appointment scheduling, and responsive support across M42’s world-class hospitals and clinics. With its team of dedicated professionals and advanced telecommunication systems, the Centre enhances patient experience, streamlines service delivery, and reinforces M42’s commitment to accessible, patient-centric healthcare.

The Pharmacy Informatics Lead plays a strategic role in driving the digital transformation of pharmacy services across the M42 network. This position serves as the key link between Pharmacy Operations, Clinical Informatics, and Information Technology, ensuring that pharmacy information systems support safe, efficient, and standardized medication management while enhancing patient care, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of pharmacy information systems across the M42 network.
  • Drive the pharmacy informatics roadmap in alignment with organizational digital health and clinical excellence strategies.
  • Oversee pharmacy-related system configurations, including EMR pharmacy modules, medication management systems, formulary build, and clinical decision support tools.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy, clinical, nursing, and IT stakeholders to optimize medication-related workflows and user adoption.
  • Ensure integration between pharmacy systems and other healthcare technologies, including EMRs, automation, inventory, and robotics platforms.
  • Lead system testing, validation, upgrades, change management, and build governance activities.
  • Support medication safety initiatives through effective use of digital solutions, alerts, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
  • Develop and utilize data analytics and dashboards to support quality improvement, operational performance, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related healthcare field.
  • Registered Pharmacist with a valid professional license.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmacy informatics, clinical systems, healthcare technology, or related healthcare IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting pharmacy systems and medication management solutions, including EMR platforms (preferably Cerner).
  • Strong understanding of medication-use processes, clinical decision support, formulary management, and medication safety systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills in complex healthcare environments.
