Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in New Cairo. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for safety and appropriateness, and provide clear counseling to customers on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions. Daily responsibilities include managing inventory, checking expiry dates, organizing stock, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Pharmacist will support over-the-counter product selection, advise on healthcare, skincare, and personal care items, and coordinate with other team members to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment. The role also involves documenting interventions, maintaining patient records as required, and delivering attentive customer service to promote better health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and safe dispensing practices.
• Ability to provide clear patient counseling, explain dosage instructions, and address questions about side effects and interactions.
• Skills in inventory management, including stock control, expiry monitoring, and ordering processes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing prescriptions, labeling, and documentation.
• Customer service and communication skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and manage conflict professionally.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and basic computer skills for data entry and record maintenance.
• Knowledge of applicable pharmacy regulations, professional standards, and quality assurance practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and valid pharmacist license/registration in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy settings is an advantage.
