Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist, located in Muscat. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, and providing expert advice on medication usage, doses, and potential side effects. Additional duties include collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care, managing inventory of pharmaceuticals, and maintaining compliance with regulatory healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of pharmacology, including drug classifications, uses, and potential interactions.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting prescriptions and providing appropriate guidance on medication usage.
• Skills in inventory management, stock control, and ensuring the availability of medications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and medical documentation processes.
• Ability to remain detail-oriented and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or a similar qualification with a valid MOH Omani pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
