ELEMENTAL DAY SURGICAL CENTER is a premium, multi-specialty surgical facility in Dubai, built around clinical excellence, advanced governance frameworks, and a refined patient experience aligned with international best practice standards.
We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Services Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate the daily operations of our surgical floor.
This is a senior clinical leadership role within a premium center operating to high international standards. The position requires strong operational control, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage complex perioperative workflows with precision and professionalism.
Role Overview
The Perioperative Services Nurse Manager is responsible for end-to-end coordination and oversight of:
• Operating Theatres (OT)
• Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• CSSD workflow coordination
The role ensures surgical readiness, seamless patient flow, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all perioperative services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
• Lead the daily management of OT schedules and surgical workflow
• Optimize theatre utilization and turnover times
• Coordinate staffing allocation across OT, PACU, and ICU
• Act as senior escalation point for clinical and operational matters
Clinical Oversight
• Ensure adherence to WHO Surgical Safety Checklist and safety protocols
• Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards
• Oversee perioperative and critical care documentation accuracy
• Ensure safe clinical transitions from OT to PACU and ICU
CSSD Coordination
• Align surgical lists with instrument readiness and sterilization capacity
• Monitor sterile processing workflow and traceability documentation
• Proactively manage risks related to instrument availability and equipment performance
Governance & Compliance
• Maintain compliance with DHA regulatory standards
• Support audit readiness and inspection preparation
• Monitor and improve perioperative performance indicators
Team Leadership
• Provide strong, visible leadership across perioperative and critical care teams
• Mentor and develop nursing staff
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence
Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred)
• DHA License or Eligibility (mandatory)
• Minimum 7+ years perioperative experience
• Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• BLS & ACLS certified
