Role Description the Pediatric OPD Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care to children and adolescents in the outpatient department at Andalusia Health KSA. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jeddah and includes assessing pediatric patients, recording medical histories, monitoring vital signs, and assisting physicians during examinations and minor procedures. The nurse will administer medications and treatments as prescribed, provide age-appropriate education and support to patients and caregivers, and promote infection control and safety standards. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating appointments, preparing examination rooms, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality service. The role requires adherence to clinical guidelines, participation in quality improvement activities, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Pediatric Nursing and Pediatrics skills for outpatient care of infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Valid nursing license/registration in KSA, with eligibility to practice in pediatric settings.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution; pediatric specialization is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in pediatric outpatient, general pediatrics, or pediatric acute care is preferred.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, infection prevention, and continuous learning.
