Job Purpose The Patient Acquisition Executive will be responsible for promoting research studies, attracting eligible participants, and ensuring a smooth and ethical recruitment process. This role blends participant engagement with strategic outreach and marketing, ideal for someone who can communicate research value to the public while maintaining scientific and ethical integrity. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring recruitment goals are met and participants have a positive study experience.

Key Responsibilities Participant Recruitment & Marketing

  • Develop and implement recruitment and marketing strategies across multiple channels (community outreach, social media, healthcare facilities, and partner networks).
  • Create engaging, culturally appropriate materials — digital posts, flyers, and presentations — to promote study participation.
  • Represent the research team at public events, health fairs, and community gatherings to raise awareness about ongoing studies.
  • Identify, screen, and schedule eligible participants according to study criteria.
  • Obtain informed consent and ensure participants fully understand the study process and rights.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with participants to enhance retention and trust.

Data & Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate participant databases, tracking recruitment and enrolment metrics.
  • Support data entry, quality checks, and documentation related to recruitment progress.
  • Coordinate participant appointments, reminders, and follow-ups.
  • Prepare periodic recruitment reports and updates for the research team.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Serve as the primary contact for participants, research staff, and external partners involved in recruitment.
  • Collaborate with community leaders, organizations, and healthcare providers to build referral networks.
  • Assist in the organization of outreach and dissemination events to promote research participation and awareness.
  • Provide feedback to the research team to improve recruitment messaging and strategies.

Governance & Compliance Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Research Team.
  • Works closely with research coordinators, clinicians, community partners, and administrative teams.

Compliance Responsibilities

  • Ensure all recruitment materials and processes comply with ethical guidelines and research governance requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality, consent documentation, and participant data security according to institutional policies.

Decision-Making Authority

  • Responsible for screening participants, conducting initial eligibility checks, and scheduling.
  • Recommends improvements in recruitment strategies and outreach methods.

Qualifications & Experience Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, communications, life sciences, psychology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in participant recruitment, marketing, research coordination, or community outreach.
  • Experience working with diverse cultural communities preferred.

Working Conditions Work Environment

  • Primarily office and field-based, including community outreach activities, events, and participant engagement.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel locally, attend events, and interact with the community regularly.

Travel Requirements

  • Local travel within Abu Dhabi and occasional travel across the UAE depending on outreach needs.
