Job Summary:

Life Opticals is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Retail Optometrist to join our growing team. As a key member of our optical division, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, providing expert vision care solutions, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a passion for eye health, strong clinical knowledge, and the ability to work in a retail setting to support our mission of delivering high-quality vision care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose visual conditions and provide appropriate prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Educate patients on eye health, lens options, and preventive eye care.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable eyewear based on prescriptions, lifestyle, and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with all professional and legal requirements for optometry practice.
• Work collaboratively with the sales and retail team to provide seamless customer experiences.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in optometry and eyewear.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in optometry from a recognized institution.
• DHA license or eligibility to practice in the UAE.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Optometrist in a retail or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of optical products, lenses, and contact lenses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and provide top-notch customer service.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
