Job Description

• Provide assistance in embryology procedures and andrology laboratory procedures. Ensure quality control and quality assurance of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).laboratory
  

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Provide assistance in daily Andrology and Embryology laboratory procedures in the department.
• Receive and processes samples on a daily basis.
• Ensure that the laboratory is clean at all times and checks the equipment for temperature and proper functioning.
• Assist in analyzing the samples and compute results. Prepare Laboratory results for patients.
• Prepare dishes for cultures and prepare mediums for cultures.
• Maintain level of gases in equipment for their proper functioning.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of techniques and Procedures related to sterilization and disinfection of equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with the maintenance engineers for servicing of the laboratory equipment’s under supervision of laboratory manager.
• Participate in patient and family education as per need.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
• Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
  

Requirements

Education/ Professional Qualification

• Bachelor of Science.
• Medical Laboratory Technology
  

Experience

• Fresh; preferably with some experience in special In-Vitro .Fertilization (IVF) laboratory
  

Professional Licensing / Certification / Training

• Certification: Relevant certifications
• Licensing : Saudi Council for Health Specialties and current registration with the designated authority for the profession from the country of origin
