About the job:
1. Event Participation & Vision Screening Provide on-site visual screenings during health lounge events in corporate and community settings. Assist in the execution of vision-related wellness programs, tailored to employees’ and participants’ needs. Set up and operate vision assessment tools such as autorefractors or any type of tools needed.
2. Eye Health Education & Support Provide education on eye health, preventive care, and the importance of regular optometric check-ups. Distribute informative material and provide brief education on managing common visual concerns.
3. Referral & Clinical Coordination Identify individuals with potential eye health issues and refer them to ophthalmologists or optometrists for further evaluation. Coordinate with healthcare team at the event to ensure seamless participant flow and case follow-up. Record screening results and ensure proper documentation for continuity of care.
4. Equipment Readiness & Safety Prepare and maintain optical equipment before, during, and after events, ensuring accuracy and hygiene. Report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to the event coordinator in a timely manner.
5. Client Engagement & Service Promotion Engage attendees by explaining hospital eye care services and encouraging further consultation or follow-up. Support efforts to transition interested participants into regular hospital care pathways. Answer general queries related to vision and available hospital services.
6. Reporting & Data Entry Assist in capturing and logging vision screening data and participant interactions. Contribute to event reports by documenting outcomes, trends, and participant feedback related to eye care after each event.
7. General Support & Collaboration Follow protocols and maintain high standards of professionalism during all events. Support quality and performance improvement initiatives within the department. Perform additional duties within the scope of health events as directed by the Chief Commercial Officer. Maintain a high standard of professional ethics, integrity, and respectful behavior in all interactions and business activities.
