Job Description

Job Summary:

A skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 4 years of experience specializing in plastic surgery procedures. Responsible for providing perioperative care, ensuring patient safety, and assisting surgical teams during cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for plastic surgery procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready
• Assist surgeons during operations such as cosmetic, reconstructive, and aesthetic procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care and education
• Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient records
• Handle surgical instruments and anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Respond quickly to any emergencies or complications in the operating room

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Valid nursing license
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the operating room, preferably in plastic surgery
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced surgical environments
