Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise nursing staff in assigned department
  • Plan, organize, and evaluate daily nursing operations
  • Develop and manage staff schedules and assignments
  • Ensure adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Monitor quality of patient care and implement improvements
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and administration
  • Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and resources
  • Handle patient complaints and resolve operational issues
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff development

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (preferred)
  • Several years of clinical nursing experience
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
