Job Description
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Advanced certification or specialization in rehabilitation nursing or long-term care.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on rehabilitation or long-term care.
- Specialized training or certification in rehabilitation nursing or geriatric care is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Experience in rehabilitation services and/or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation nursing principles and practices.
- Proficiency in assessing and managing complex medical conditions in long-term care settings.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in rehabilitation and long-term care
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care and interventions for patients with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to rehabilitation and long-term care services.
- Participate in staff education and training programs to enhance nursing practice and ensure quality care delivery.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in delivering specialized care.
