Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Advanced certification or specialization in rehabilitation nursing or long-term care.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on rehabilitation or long-term care.
  • Specialized training or certification in rehabilitation nursing or geriatric care is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Experience in rehabilitation services and/or long-term care settings is preferred.

  • Comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation nursing principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in assessing and managing complex medical conditions in long-term care settings.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in rehabilitation and long-term care

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care and interventions for patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to rehabilitation and long-term care services.
  • Participate in staff education and training programs to enhance nursing practice and ensure quality care delivery.
  • Contribute to quality improvement projects and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in delivering specialized care.
