About the Role

Dallah Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Neonatology Consultant to join our medical team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will provide specialized, evidence-based care to newborns, including premature and critically ill neonates, while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive consultant-level care to newborns, including premature, high-risk, and critically ill neonates.
  • Manage neonatal emergencies and complex medical conditions in the NICU.
  • Perform clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide consultation and support to pediatricians, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in NICU rounds, clinical meetings, and multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes.
  • Support the implementation of evidence-based clinical practices and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in teaching, training, and mentoring of residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, and other hospital initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD/MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Board Certification or recognized postgraduate qualification in Neonatology.
  • Valid professional classification and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Proven experience as a Neonatology Consultant, preferably in a hospital/NICU setting.
  • Strong clinical and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex neonatal cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
