Modality Sales Specialist Lead Ultrasound META

Job Description Reporting to the Ultrasound Zone Leader, the Modality Sales Specialist Lead is responsible for leading strategic and tactical sales plans for the US product portfolio and Service leveraging deep clinical and technical expertise to drive business growth and achieve aggressive sales targets, working under limited supervision. The role identifies and capitalizes on new business opportunities collaborating closely with Partner and Key Account Teams to drive Annual Operating Plans and contribute to strategic planning.

The Modality Sales Specialist Lead will head a team of Modality sales specialists across the META zone and collaborating closely with the US CAS Leader as well as the US BMM’s.

Your Role

  • Leads strategic and tactical sales plans for assigned product modalities, demonstrating deep expertise in clinical and technical aspects to drive business growth and achieve aggressive sales targets.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on new business opportunities, collaborating closely with account teams to ensure alignment with service sales quotas and overall business objectives, working under limited supervision.
  • Supports stakeholders in achieving business goals, including balanced selling and attainment of business unit annual operating plan (AOP) targets, while validating product forecasts and contributing to strategic planning.
  • Reviews and verifies CRM records with accurate customer interactions and sales data for products, ensuring timely data entry to support sales strategies, track engagement, and enhance customer relationships, while leveraging insights to improve sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Manages and develops employees to achieve organizational goals and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, all while fostering a culture of impact with care.
  • Partners with Marketing to provide strategic input on sales tools, pricing strategies, and competitive threats ensuring Marketing effectively supports Specialists and contributes to business unit objectives.
  • Prepares and delivers precise business forecasting through accurate lead and opportunity management on a monthly basis, providing critical insights for decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Monitors industry trends and competitor activities, offering strategic feedback to the sales and marketing organizations, including recommendations for expanding product offerings and enhancing market competitiveness.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives through Lean methodologies, optimizing sales processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the commercial unit.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and Philips policies across all sales activities, maintaining the highest standards of quality, ethics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzes market data and customer feedback to synthesize actionable insights, influencing product development and marketing strategies to meet evolving customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Facilitates effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives and business objectives.

You’re the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the commercial field, as well as within the Ultrasound business.
  • Strong leadership, financial acumen, CRM expertise and deep AI/IT knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or an equivalent field.
  • The candidate must possess strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
  • The role will involve covering a broad region across the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, and will require extensive travel across key countries within META.
