To support our operations, we are looking to hire a qualified and experienced Microbiologist to conduct microbiological testing and ensure sterile conditions across our manufacturing processes and cleanroom environments.

Job Summary

The Microbiologist will be responsible for performing microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products. This role includes monitoring cleanroom environments, validating aseptic processes, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards to maintain product safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing of water, raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples.
• Perform sterility testing, bioburden testing, endotoxin testing, and microbial limit tests in compliance with pharmacopeial standards.
• Monitor cleanroom environments through air, surface, personnel, and equipment sampling.
• Support validation of aseptic processes, cleaning validation, and equipment qualification.
• Investigate and document microbiological deviations, non-conformities, and out-of-specification results.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments in accordance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Prepare and review microbiological test reports and ensure timely documentation.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure laboratory safety, hygiene, and compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology,
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory.
• Strong understanding of microbiological techniques, cleanroom classifications, and GMP compliance.
• Familiarity with USP, BP, EP, and other pharmacopeial methods.
• Excellent documentation, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.
