Job Description
This role is responsible for managing the sterilization and disinfection of medical equipment and instruments used in various medical procedures. The role involves ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and infection control protocols to maintain a safe, sterile environment for both patients and medical staff. Additionally, the role may involve supporting education and training efforts related to sterilization techniques, particularly in settings with high medical equipment density.
Main Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and preparing instruments and equipment for sterilization.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Medical Technology, Nursing, or a related discipline).
- SCFHS Medical Sterilization Specialist License
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sterilization or infection control in a healthcare setting, particularly within a medical college or hospital environment.
- Familiarity with high-density medical instrument management and sterilization practices.
