Role Description The Plastic Surgeon role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The Plastic Surgeon will perform a range of reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, including surgical consultations, pre-operative planning, and operative interventions aligned with patient needs and safety standards. Daily activities include assessing patients, explaining treatment options and risks, performing plastic and reconstructive surgeries, and providing post-operative follow-up and management. The role involves close collaboration with anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality, coordinated care. The Plastic Surgeon will also contribute to quality improvement, maintain accurate medical documentation, comply with local regulatory requirements, and stay current with advances in plastic and cosmetic surgery techniques.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Plastic Surgery and Surgery, with a proven ability to perform reconstructive and aesthetic procedures safely and effectively.
- Proficiency in Cosmetic Surgery techniques, including facial, body, and minimally invasive procedures tailored to diverse patient needs.
- Competence in Microsurgery for complex reconstructive cases, including tissue transfer and delicate vascular or nerve repairs.
- Solid foundation in Medicine, with comprehensive clinical assessment skills and sound judgment in patient selection and risk management.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent) with completed residency and fellowship training in plastic surgery, and current professional licensure eligible in the UAE.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and evidence-based care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to an international, fast-paced clinical environment.
- Prior experience in a hospital or specialized clinic setting in plastic or cosmetic surgery; experience in the Middle East healthcare system is an advantage.
