Job Description

Summary

Provides expert advice and administrative support to the senior management in the planning and organizing of the Genomic Medicine Center Of Excellence overall activities and functions to achieve its mission, goals and objectives and to establish/enhance systems, processes, and productivity.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1. Responsible for the planning, organizing, assessment, consultation, and monitoring Internal operating budget process including Internal operating budget, capital budget, business planning & development, and program impact analysis.

2. Assists and advises the senior management in the development of Internal Policies and Procedures (IPPs). Develops and recommends administrative and operational policies and procedures for accomplishing the desired targets and goals as defined.

3. Assists and advises the senior management in the formulation of goals and objectives, strategic and long[1]term and short-range planning.

4. Assists and advises the senior management in the development of program models and program initiatives.

5. Plans and develops resource requirements to ensure the delivery of quality services and products. Coordinates the process of goals and objective setting for the Departments in collaboration with Quality Management.

6. Manages the operational and short-range plan. Coordinates the process of target setting, assesses, and tracks achievement of targets and objectives. Responsible for identifying critical points for management intervention.

7. Ensures that the necessary infrastructure and processes are in place to support the continuous delivery of services and support infrastructure in the provision of programs and services, which includes, but is not limited to, the monitoring and evaluation of resource management, resource utilization, and workload outcome and performance measurement.

8. Assists and advises the senior management in developing and monitoring (individual) Departmental business plans and revenue generation initiatives, providing feedback and support as may be required.

9. Monitors the performance in relation to key performance indicators and establishes internal and external benchmarks. Responsible for coordinating the process for defining key quality and performance indicators, targets, and benchmarks.

10. Conducts studies of identified problem areas, recommends corrective action, and oversees implementation.

11. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.

12. Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.

Job Requirements:

Education: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare related, or other related discipline and Bachelor of Science Degree in scientific discipline is required.

Experience Required: Eleven (11) years of related experience, including five (5) years at a senior/managerial position is required.
