Laser Hair Removal Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Laser Hair Removal Technician to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective laser treatments while ensuring a premium patient experience. You will work closely with our dermatology team to follow clinical protocols, maintain high safety standards, and help our clients achieve their aesthetic goals.Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laser hair removal treatments using advanced technology (e.g., Candela, Soprano, or Lutronic systems) in accordance with DoH regulations.
  • Conduct initial consultations to assess skin type (Fitzpatrick scale), medical history, and treatment suitability and obtain appropriate consent.
  • Develop customized treatment plans and maintain accurate patient records/progress notes.
  • Educate patients on pre-treatment preparation and post-treatment care to ensure optimal results and safety.
  • Maintain and calibrate laser equipment, ensuring a sterile and organized clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to manage any adverse reactions or clinical concerns.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • License: Must hold a valid DoH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) License as a Laser Technician or a Registered Nurse with a Laser Competency Certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a clinical or high-end aesthetic setting in the UAE. Consideration for freshers can be made.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in operating various laser platforms and understanding different skin types/contraindications.
  • Qualification from the National Council of Laser Certification is a hard requirement
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a patient-centric approach, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a significant advantage.
