Perform professional and safe specimen collection services primarily through home collection. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered phlebotomy services across all age groups and medical conditions while ensuring sample integrity, accurate identification, and timely transportation to the laboratory. The position supports business growth by enhancing patient access and experience through efficient home healthcare services.

Accountabilities

  • Performs venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures competently for all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and patients with challenging clinical conditions.
  • Conducts home sample collection services in accordance with assigned schedules and operational requirements.
  • Ensures correct guest identification, preparation, and post-collection care following established protocols.
  • Maintains sample integrity during collection, handling, storage, and transportation to the laboratory.
  • Adheres to infection control, safety, and biohazard handling policies during all procedures.
  • Provides professional, respectful, and guest-centered care during home visits, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, labeling, and chain of custody for all collected samples.
  • Coordinates effectively with laboratory team to ensure timely delivery of specimens.
  • Utilizes personal transportation for home collection services when required, with compensation provided as per company policy.
  • Ensures proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
  • Reports any incidents, complications, or guest concerns to the supervisor promptly.
  • Supports business development initiatives by maintaining high service quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains confidentiality of guest information at all times.

The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager may assign additional duties based on business and operational needs.

Work Environment

  • Outdoors : 100 % of time as per assigned home collection schedule
  • Working Days : 6 Working Days
  • Days off : 1 Day Off
  • Working Hours : 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department.

Home collection assignments conducted outside regular working hours will be considered overtime and compensated in accordance with company policy.

Job Requirement

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Applied Medical Sciences or equivalent
  • Certification in Phlebotomy is preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in phlebotomy, preferably including home collection services

Computer Skills

  • Office & Health Information System

Languages

  • English and Arabic (fluent speaking and writing)

Others

  • Valid driving License
