Job Description

Job Objective – Lab Operations Manager

Responsible for defining and organizing the Plasma Testing Laboratory in alignment with Egyptian regulations and cGMP standards, as well as European Plasma Testing Specifications. Manages all aspects of laboratory operations, ensuring resource optimization and compliance with planning to guarantee plasma quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities – Plasma Quality Control

  • Train, supervise, and support lab specialists to ensure tasks are executed correctly.
  • Schedule staff to optimize productivity and ensure efficient time allocation.
  • Monitor QC processes to ensure accuracy of all plasma testing results.
  • Oversee sample handling and enforce lab safety protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to lab procedures and documentation standards.
  • Maintain and monitor laboratory inventory and procurement of materials.
  • Initiate and enhance lab documentation and reports.
  • Analyze findings and prepare detailed reports.
  • Manage calibration schedules for lab equipment.
  • Facilitate data reporting and internal communication.
  • Support regulatory audits and ensure compliance with all requirements.
  • Manage budgets and timelines efficiently.

Academic Experience

  • Scientific degree in pharmaceutical or biomedical sciences (preferred).

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years in certified laboratories.
  • At least 3 years in a similar role within GMP environments.
  • Solid knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in computer systems and digital lab tools.

Languages

  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
