Job Description

Junior Nurse – Functional & Integrative Medicine

About Joint Space

Joint Space is an integrative polyclinic, movement space and educational hub in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai. We bring together integrative medicine, manual therapies, movement and recovery within a single ecosystem — designed to take people from injury and pain toward autonomy, longevity and their full physical potential.

We blend science and art, and we treat people as active participants in their own health rather than passive patients.
The role

We are looking for a Junior Nurse to join our multidisciplinary clinical team and support both clinical care and the smooth day-to-day administration of our functional medicine, longevity and integrative health services.

This is a hands-on role for an early-career nurse who is confident in phlebotomy, highly organised and comfortable combining patient-facing clinical support with administrative responsibilities. The right person communicates clearly, works reliably within established protocols and is eager to learn and develop within functional and integrative medicine.

The role covers:

• Performing phlebotomy and blood collection confidently, including patient preparation, labelling and correct sample handling for laboratory testing

• Supporting physicians during consultations, procedures and treatment plans

• Preparing patients, recording observations and vital signs, and assisting with clinical follow-up

• Assisting with IV therapies and other nurse-led treatments under supervision and within scope of practice

• Coordinating laboratory tests, investigations, treatment bookings and follow-up appointments

• Supporting day-to-day clinic administration, including patient communication, forms, referrals and scheduling

• Maintaining accurate EMR documentation, updating patient records and following up on outstanding clinical and administrative tasks

• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment and clinical supplies are stocked, organised and ready for use

• Communicating clearly with laboratories, pharmacies, patients and the wider clinical team

• Following infection-control, patient-safety and clinical protocols consistently

• Developing knowledge and practical skills in functional, integrative and longevity medicine

• Confident phlebotomy and blood collection skills – essential

• Comfortable using electronic medical records, email and routine clinic systems

• Clear verbal and written communication with a professional, patient-centred manner

• Comfortable working within protocols and asking for guidance when needed

• Team-oriented, proactive and willing to support both clinical and administrative needs

• Eager to learn, take feedback and develop new clinical skills
