Company Description Misr Life Insurance – Takaful, established in 2022, is a fast-growing player in Egypt’s insurance industry with a dedicated focus on takaful insurance. The company was founded through a strategic collaboration between leading financial institutions, including Misr Insurance Holding Company, Misr Life Insurance, Misr Insurance, National Bank of Egypt, and Banque Misr. With an initial capital of 150 million Egyptian pounds, Misr Life Insurance – Takaful aims to modernize and strengthen the life and medical insurance landscape in Egypt. On November 23, 2022, the Financial Regulatory Authority granted the company a license to offer life and long-term medical insurance compliant with Islamic Sharia principles. This regulatory approval reinforces the company’s position as a trusted and certified provider in the Egyptian insurance market.
Role Description The Insurance Sales Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The consultant will identify prospective clients, present tailored life and takaful insurance solutions, and guide customers through policy selection and enrollment. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting needs-based consultations, explaining product features and benefits, preparing and submitting applications, and following up to ensure high customer satisfaction and policy retention. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, meeting sales targets, coordinating with internal teams on underwriting and claims-related inquiries, and staying updated on company products, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Insurance knowledge, with familiarity in life insurance and takaful products.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Consulting skills to analyze customer needs and provide suitable insurance recommendations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build trust, explain complex concepts clearly, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in insurance sales, banking, or financial services in Egypt is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, meet performance targets, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Arabic and working knowledge of English are beneficial.
- High ethical standards and alignment with Islamic Sharia principles in financial dealings.
