Job Description
The Implementation Project Manager leads RCM system Deployment projects across King’s College Hospital Dubai and satellite locations. This is a Project-focused role managing implementation from initiation through go-live and hyper care for RCM management position.
Reporting to the Director of Technology, this Dubai-based project manager oversees project planning, vendor coordination, NABIDH integration deployment, Dubai payer connectivity implementation, data migration, testing, training, and go-live management.
The role requires healthcare IT project management expertise with specific experience deploying RCM systems in Dubai, including DHA regulatory approvals, NABIDH onboarding, and Dubai insurance company technical integrations.
RCM System Deployment Project Planning & Execution
- Lead comprehensive project planning for RCM system deployment across KCH Dubai locations.
- Develop detailed implementation project plan: scope, WBS, schedule, resource allocation, budget, risk management, governance.
- Establish project organization: steering committee, workstream leads (clinical, finance, IT, training), project team structure, RACI matrices, decision protocols.
- Apply appropriate methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) using MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet for project tracking.
- Coordinate multi-phase deployment rollout: pilot location selection, phased go-live strategy, parallel run planning, cutover execution, production transition.
- Manage project critical path, dependencies, resource loading, and schedule optimization to deliver on time and within budget.
RCM Technology: Deployment & Integration
- Oversee deployment of new RCM software and technology platforms in Dubai healthcare environment.
- Manage NABIDH integration project: coordinate DHA onboarding application, HL7 v2.5.1 interface development and testing, SDWAN connectivity setup, DHA technical reviews, NABIDH MDS compliance validation, go-live approval from DHA.
- Lead Dubai payer integration projects: coordinate technical integrations with Daman provider portal, AXA authorization system, Oman Insurance claim submission, Dubai Insurance interfaces, Saada system connectivity.
- Oversee data migration project activities: legacy data extraction, cleansing, transformation, test migration cycles, production cutover, data validation, reconciliation.
- Coordinate go-live technical activities: system cutover execution, interface activation, user access provisioning, production monitoring, issue triage during go-live weekend.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration.
- Master’s degree in MBA, or Information Systems – Strongly Preffered
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – mandatory.
- PRINCE2, PMI-ACP certifications highly advantageous.
- CPHIMS or CAHIMS certifications highly preferred. Lean Six Sigma or change management certifications (Prosci, ACMP) beneficial.
Experience
- 7-10 years progressive project management experience in healthcare IT implementations (Mandatory).
- 5-7 years managing RCM system implementation projects in hospital settings with proven successful go-lives (Essential).
- 3-5 years project delivery experience in Dubai healthcare sector (mandatory- Dubai project experience required).
- Proven experience deploying healthcare systems in Dubai with DHA regulatory approval and NABIDH integration (Essential).
Training & Knowledge
Healthcare IT Project Management (Critical):
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies: Waterfall for structured implementations, Agile for iterative development, Hybrid approaches for complex projects.
- Advanced proficiency with PM tools: MS Project for scheduling, Jira for Agile projects, Smartsheet for collaboration.
- Deep understanding of healthcare IT implementation project lifecycles: planning, design, build, test, train, deploy, support.
- Experience with go-live management: cutover planning, production transition, war room operations, hyper care support.
- Knowledge of data migration methodologies: ETL processes, data validation, cutover execution. Understanding of healthcare system integration: HL7, FHIR, interface development, testing protocols.
- Change management expertise for technology implementations.
