The Health Checkup Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating patient health screening services, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for patients and corporate clients. The role involves appointment coordination, patient communication, coordination with clinical departments, and ensuring timely completion of health checkup processes in line with hospital standards and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end health checkup appointments for individual patients and corporate health screening programs.
- Contact patients/clients to schedule appointments, provide pre-checkup instructions, and confirm attendance.
- Welcome and guide patients throughout the health checkup journey, ensuring excellent patient experience.
- Register patients accurately and verify required documents and information.
- Coordinate with physicians, nursing teams, laboratory, radiology, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Monitor the progress of health checkup activities and ensure all required investigations are completed.
- Address patient queries, provide accurate information regarding health screening packages, and escalate concerns when required.
- Ensure timely follow-up for pending reports, consultations, and completion of health assessment results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
- Support corporate clients by coordinating group health screening schedules and requirements.
- Prepare and maintain daily/monthly reports related to appointments, patient volumes, and service performance.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, DHA regulations, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.
- Contribute to improving patient satisfaction and operational efficiency within the health checkup unit.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in healthcare coordination, patient services, medical administration, or executive health screening.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility in the UAE is preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare processes, patient registration, and medical terminology.
- Experience handling corporate clients and health screening programs is an advantage.
