• Qualifications:
• Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced General Surgery Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general surgery, with a commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
• Key Responsibilities:
• – Perform surgical procedures in the field of general surgery, including but not limited to gastrointestinal, laparoscopic, and emergency surgeries.
• – Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• – Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• – Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency surgical care.
• – Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up appointments.
• – Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and trainees.
• – Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to research and educational activities.
• Qualifications:
• – Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• – Board certification in General Surgery.
• – Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Surgery Consultant.
• – Valid medical license to practice in Qatar or eligibility to obtain one.
• – Proficiency in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
• – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• – Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• – Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
