Job Description

We are seeking a part-time DHA-licensed Pediatrician with training in Functional Medicine to join our clinical team. This role focuses on delivering personalized, root-cause pediatric care to children and families seeking a more integrative approach to growth, development, immunity, and chronic health concerns. You will combine evidence-based pediatric care with functional medicine principles, using detailed health histories, advanced diagnostics, and individualized protocols to support optimal development and long-term wellness. The ideal candidate is a clinician who looks beyond standard pediatric protocols to address underlying imbalances in gut health, immunity, nutrition, and neurodevelopment, while partnering closely with families on their child’s health journey.

Requirements:

  • Valid DHA license (Pediatrician)
  • Functional Medicine training preferred (IFM certification or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical pediatric experience, ideally in the UAE
  • Experience managing chronic pediatric conditions through a functional lens (allergies, eczema, gut health disorders, recurrent infections, ADHD/neurodevelopmental concerns, growth or nutritional issues)
  • Confidence interpreting advanced diagnostics (GI mapping, food sensitivity testing, micronutrient panels, hormonal and immune markers)
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, family-centered approach to care

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive pediatric consultations, including detailed developmental, dietary, and lifestyle history
  • Design personalized treatment plans addressing root causes of chronic pediatric conditions
  • Order and interpret advanced lab testing to guide diagnosis and treatment
  • Prescribe therapeutic nutrition, targeted supplementation, and lifestyle interventions appropriate for pediatric patients
  • Monitor growth, development, and treatment progress via clinical outcomes and biomarkers
  • Educate parents and caregivers on nutrition, sleep, immune support, and lifestyle modifications
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA regulatory standards
